Sugar Warehouse and Kurashiki Lemon
Ryokan Kurashiki (Kurashiki, Okayama)

A sweet and sour cocktail with fresh lemon from Kurashiki and lemon liqueur representing the fragrance of Setouchi.
Inspired by the nostalgic and relaxing Ryokan Kurashiki, once used as warehouses for sugar and tools built 160 years ago.

Green Winds of Mount Tanigawa
Bettei Senjuan (Minakami, Gunma)

A secluded ryokan where the forest winds from the famed Mount Tanigawa blow.
Mulberry tea from Gunma and Muscat create a refreshing cocktail, reminiscent of the feeling of being purified by the star-filled night sky while reveling in the luxury of doing nothing.

The Emptiness Filled with Light
Beniya Mukayu (Yamashiro Onsen, Ishikawa)

The open guestrooms that invite nature to pour inside and private open-air hot spring baths overlooking the garden inspire this fruity cocktail of quince and yuzu, inducing a heart fulfilling experience.

Tea Ceremony with Omotenashi
Sumiya (Kyoto, Kyoto)

A sparkling cocktail with the aroma of Kyoto gin and matcha with a faint bitterness.
The emotional setting, the tranquility of the four seasons, the spirit of omotenashi demonstrated in Kyoto cuisine – it is a simple expression of the tea ceremony culture and wabi aesthetics of Kyoto.

Blossoms of Ume in a Moment of Peace
Hiiragiya (Kyoto, Kyoto)

The rich spring is depicted by the sweet ume and tangy yuzu in this flowery cocktail.
Ume (Japanese plum) bloom in full glory in the month of February and announce the arrival of spring to the city of Kyoto, bringing about the peaceful feeling of being at home to visitors of the ancient capital.

Setsugekka – Snow, moon and flowers
Myojinkan (Matsumoto, Nagano)

A bittersweet sparkling cocktail with yuzu from the Tenryu village of Nagano.
It is said that the gods came for the hot springs in the area where Myojinkan stands in ancient times. The deep bath ‘Setsugekka’ provides an unforgettable experience, whether it be in the summer with the lush green, or winter with the snow frosted branches.

Whirlpool of Sudachi and Aizome
Hotel Ridge (Naruto, Tokushima)

The renowned whirlpools of Naruto and the beautiful Aizome (indigo dye) known as Japan Blue are portrayed with the fruity freshness of sudachi from Tokushima.
Relax amidst the sounds of nature and the ocean currents of Setouchi.

Snow Garden
Zaborin (Niseko, Hokkaido)

A snowfall of powdered sugar adorns this fruity crimson cocktail of apple brandy and Zaborin original apple juice from a local producer.

This traditional cocktail has been passed down from Kiyoshi Imai, the hotel’s first chief bartender from when the original Palace Hotel opened in 1961.
The sharp, icy cold flavor is a truly blissful concoction by the bartenders that inherit the technique and spirit of Imai, also known as ‘Mr. Martini.’
