Royal Bar

Located on the main lobby level and discreetly tucked away behind a single door, Royal Bar is as classic as a martini.

Indeed, the bar counter itself is a meticulous restoration of the one from the original Royal Bar first opened at Palace Hotel in 1961, where the hotel’s first chief bartender, ‘Mr. Martini’, held court for years.

The dark-wood, deep-leather, plush-velvet alcove’s brooding appeal draws serious aficionados of the finest cigars and top-shelf liquors to what is arguably one of the most sophisticated bars in Tokyo.

*Please refrain from casual clothing such as beach sandals and men’s sleeveless shirts. Guests in casual attire may be asked to refrain from entering the restaurant.
