The artwork that can be seen throughout Palace Hotel Tokyo’s guestrooms and public spaces encompasses more than 700 individual pieces especially commissioned or chosen for the hotel from an array of artists, including some of Japan’s most promising artists as well as long-established ones.
The eclectic mix runs the gamut, from a traditional ink wash painting that once hung in the original Palace Hotel to colorful abstracts by a Shanghainese artist, from indigenous rock sculptures to pencil sketches and contemporary laser-cut paper art.
In addition to being featured in The Art of Palace Hotel Tokyo book available exclusively in-room, highlights of our collection can be browsed online. Click here to have a glimpse.
